The Sales Associate represents Coach on the shop floor, delivering personalized styling and omni-channel service while driving sales, client loyalty, and store operations. This is a temporary, part-time role with a base pay range of $15.00–$19.50 per hour and a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, peak season, and public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and follow the Coach Guide to Style and service standards.
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social-selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans and meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales.
  • Maintain energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset-protection procedures.
  • Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and online pickups efficiently.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement.
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities.
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency with an iPad or laptop and Mobile POS; walkie-talkie experience; and the ability to read price and release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demos, and clienteling and data-acquisition skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; climb, bend, and kneel; and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
