Coach Sales Associate (part-time) in Wayne, New Jersey — front-line retail role delivering personalized luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized shopping experiences in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, follow-up, and proactive clienteling.
- Drive revenue via cross-selling, upselling, tailored recommendations and attainment of personal and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases.
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization; follow POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Support inventory cycles and product movement; assist teammates in functional areas as required.
- Contribute to a collaborative, trust‑based team environment and participate in brand initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); ability to read price/release sheets.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English proficiency.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail or sales experience; prior luxury retail experience and familiarity with clienteling and social selling are strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
