Coach Sales Associate in Waterloo, NY—part-time luxury retail role offering $15–$19.50/hr, benefits, and omni-channel selling experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and well-stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates in functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience (luxury retail preferred); knowledge of fashion trends and competitors
- Experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Ability to read price and release sheets; proficiency with walkie-talkie communication
- Ability to work at a fast pace and lift 25 pounds regularly (up to 50 pounds occasionally)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Strong English language proficiency
- Luxury retail background (preferred)
- Social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred)
- Clienteling and data acquisition skills (preferred)
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience in retail, preferably within the luxury fashion sector. Familiarity with fashion trends and competitive landscape is valued. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal degree required.

The successful candidate will be located in Waterloo, New York, USA, with easy access to Rochester.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
