Coach in Waterloo, New York is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to deliver elevated omni-channel client service and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front-line ambassador, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and sustain client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and proactive follow-up.
- Drive sales performance via cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling/short‑form video to capture customer data and stimulate repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and participate in team initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
- Source new customers, manage pipelines and close sales through timely outreach and relationship management.
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple clients simultaneously and adapt selling techniques to shifting business needs.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory processing and replenishment.
- Support visual merchandising standards, receive shipments, stock merchandise and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean and organized.
- Follow retail policies and asset protection procedures; assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in brand trainings, inclusion activities and welcome feedback to continuously refine behaviors and service delivery.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad, laptop); familiarity with Mobile POS and walkie‑talkie use.
- Ability to read price and release sheets and to complete inventory and visual merchandising tasks accurately.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Social media savvy with experience in short‑form video or live‑stream shopping, and clienteling/data acquisition skills (preferred).
- Ability to work at a fast pace and maintain composure under pressure; flexible schedule availability.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of sales experience is required, with prior luxury retail experience preferred. Experience using POS and clienteling systems and familiarity with social selling or live‑stream commerce is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Waterloo, New York, USA, with easy access to Rochester.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
