Coach seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Waterloo, New York — join Tapestry's fashion house as a client-facing retail ambassador.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering elevated, personalised luxury service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
  • Develop and nurture lasting client relationships through tailored styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business and lifetime value.
  • Achieve individual and store sales KPIs by executing personal sales plans, cross-selling and upselling, and converting walk-in and digital traffic.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social/short-form video selling to capture client data, facilitate omni-channel transactions and promote product discovery.
  • Maintain high standards of operational execution including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and asset protection.
  • Support online order fulfilment activities (pickups, returns, exchanges) and participate in inventory cycles—receiving shipments and managing stock movement.
  • Sustain a high-energy sales floor presence, manage multiple clients simultaneously and adapt selling approaches to business priorities.
  • Contribute to team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas, participating in training and brand initiatives, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proficient with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); comfortable using mobile POS solutions and walkie-talkies.
  • Demonstrated clienteling and data-acquisition skills; social media savvy with experience in live-stream shopping or video demonstrations is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays to meet business needs.
  • Physically able to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre across sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

Education

The successful candidate will be located in Waterloo, New York, USA, with easy access to Rochester.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
