Coach Sales Associate, part-time retail position in Ville Mont-Royal, Quebec. $16.60–$19.00/hr with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining high energy on the sales floor
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, fashion advice, and follow-up to encourage repeat purchases
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture client data and drive engagement
- Source new customers and maintain relationships through proactive outreach and closing techniques
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Process transactions efficiently across all channels: purchases, returns, exchanges, and online pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement; maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
- Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based environment that encourages overall team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced retail setting
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Proven knowledge of fashion trends, competitive landscape, and brand positioning
- Proficiency with POS systems, mobile point-of-sale technology (iPad/Mobile POS), and basic computer literacy
- Familiarity with walkie-talkie systems and ability to read price/release sheets accurately
- Strong English language proficiency required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a retail environment, with preference for luxury retail background. Knowledge of fashion trends, competitor offerings, and current market dynamics is essential. Experience with omni-channel selling, social media platforms, live-stream shopping demonstrations, and data acquisition through clienteling tools is advantageous.
Education
