Coach hiring a Temporary Sales Associate (part‑time) in Blackwood, NJ — deliver omni‑channel luxury retail service for Coach (Tapestry).
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front-line brand ambassador, delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Provide personalised styling and product expertise to build lasting client relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Drive revenue through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; meet individual and team KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and close sales.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and proactively source new customers and follow-ups.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining a high level of energy and professional service.
- Perform daily operational duties: cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising.
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organisation; adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups).
- Support inventory cycles (receiving shipments, stocking, product movement) and assist teammates in functional areas.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behaviour as needed.
- Perform physical tasks required by the role (regularly lift 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs; climb, bend, kneel as necessary).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and mobile POS; comfortable using iPad/laptop devices and walkie‑talkies.
- Strong English language skills required.
- Social-media savvy with experience in live‑stream shopping or video demonstrations is preferred.
- Demonstrable clienteling and data acquisition skills; ability to adapt selling techniques to business needs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
