Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in Asheville, NC (Asheville Outlets) — part‑time role. $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, delivering elevated, personalized service aligned with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Cultivate lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Execute omni‑channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling to capture customer data and convert opportunities.
- Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and development of personal sales plans.
- Perform daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising and floor standards; keep sales floor and stockroom organized and stocked while following asset protection procedures.
- Adapt to business needs, manage multiple customers on the floor, and support teammates across functional areas.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities while welcoming feedback and maintaining professional composure.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience operating POS systems and Mobile POS (iPad/laptop); ability to read price/release sheets and use walkie‑talkies.
- Social‑selling aptitude and familiarity with short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and maneuver around sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
Minimum of one year in sales, preferably within luxury or fashion retail; experience with clienteling, omni‑channel selling and social commerce is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer-service training or a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
