Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in New York, NY — represent the Coach brand, drive sales and provide luxury client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive outreach and clienteling techniques.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets by converting floor traffic, up-selling, and driving full-price transactions.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments with integrity.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure product presentation meets brand guidelines, and participate in seasonal floor moves and displays.
  • Manage stock: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, replenish the selling floor, and assist with stockroom organisation.
  • Support store operations during peak trading periods, including weekends, evenings, and promotional events; ensure compliance with loss-prevention and store security procedures.
  • Represent the brand professionally at all times, adhering to appearance and conduct standards set by corporate and local management.

Qualifications

  • Professional, polished presentation with excellent interpersonal skills appropriate for luxury retail.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and to build rapport with a discerning clientele.
