Coach Sales Associate (Part-time) — Somerville, MA (Assembly Row). Client-facing retail role focused on omni-channel selling and clienteling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently applying Coach style and service standards.
  • Deliver personalized styling and product advice to build lasting client relationships and stimulate repeat business.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert opportunities.
  • Execute daily store operations: process transactions, handle returns/exchanges/online pickups, maintain cash wrap, and support inventory cycles.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep sales floor and stockroom organized and follow asset-protection procedures.
  • Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.
  • Adapt to high-traffic periods and changing priorities while maintaining professional composure and high-energy customer service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and follow personal sales plans.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and mobile devices (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with inventory and merchandising processes.
  • Strong English language proficiency and effective interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season days and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and maneuver stockroom/sales floor.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience; prior luxury retail or fashion experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and using omni-channel tools for client acquisition.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA, with easy access to Boston.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
