Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Smithfield, NC—deliver personalized luxury service and support omnichannel retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, adhering to Coach style and service standards while delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience.
  • Build and nurture client relationships through consultative styling, product expertise and timely follow-up to drive repeat purchases and lifetime value.
  • Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling and execution of individual and team sales plans to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Operate mobile POS and process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups).
  • Leverage clienteling tools, social selling and short-form video to capture customer data and promote omnichannel engagement.
  • Perform daily operational tasks: cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and regular stockroom maintenance.
  • Support inventory cycles and asset-protection procedures; maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.
  • Adapt selling techniques to fluctuating footfall, manage multiple customers simultaneously and assist teammates across functional areas.
  • Participate in brand training, inclusion initiatives and store-driven campaigns; accept feedback and demonstrate professional composure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ year in sales; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer use (iPad/laptop); comfortable using mobile POS and walkie‑talkie.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Social-media savvy with experience or comfort performing live-stream shopping, video demos or short-form video selling (preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in a retail environment.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury or premium-brand retail experience and demonstrable omnichannel selling or clienteling experience are strongly preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
