Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in Singapore (Orchard/Takashimaya) to deliver personalised luxury retail service and drive omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a frontline ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently applying Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Deliver personalised styling and product advice to build long-term client relationships and encourage repeat purchase.
- Drive individual and store sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; execute personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
- Leverage omni-channel tools — mobile POS, clienteling platforms and social selling — to capture customer data and close sales.
- Operate POS and process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups.
- Support daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom standards; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures and asset-protection protocols.
- Source new clients and follow up on leads; participate in brand initiatives, trainings and inclusion activities.
- Adapt selling techniques to fluctuating footfall and business needs while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour.
- Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile POS devices; basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop).
- Strong English proficiency required.
- Comfortable working a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Social-media savvy with experience or aptitude for short-form video, live-stream shopping or video demos (preferred).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment and follow operational processes accurately.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year in a sales role; experience in luxury retail and omni-channel selling preferred. Demonstrated history of meeting sales targets and using clienteling or social selling to acquire and retain customers.
Education
Secondary education (high school) or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
