Coach is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate in Short Hills, NJ to deliver luxury client experiences and drive omni-channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering elevated, personalized service aligned with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and sustain client relationships through tailored styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Drive individual and store sales by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms — including short-form video — to capture customer data and convert sales.
  • Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and support omni‑channel fulfilment.
  • Perform daily operational tasks: cash wrap, inventory receipt and processing, replenishment, stockroom management and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a high-energy sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Support inventory cycles, participate in brand initiatives and complete required training and inclusion activities.
  • Follow company retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection protocols while fostering a collaborative, trust-based team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and related experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with POS operation and basic computer tools (iPad/laptop) and ability to use mobile POS and walkie-talkie.
  • Physical ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Social media savvy; experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations and competency in clienteling and data acquisition (preferred).

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with equivalent combinations of education and retail experience will be considered.
