Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service to drive sales and long-term customer loyalty at the Shanghai Daimaru department store boutique.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs through active selling, clienteling, and follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across leather goods, accessories and ready-to-wear; advise clients on styling and product care.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, manage returns/exchanges and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Support visual merchandising and maintain brand presentation standards on the sales floor and in fitting rooms.
- Assist with stock management, receiving, inventory reconciliation and floor replenishment.
- Collaborate with the store team on events, private appointments and client outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Fluent spoken Mandarin; professional-level English is advantageous.
- Proven retail sales ability with strong client service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident presenting luxury merchandise and styling advice.
- High personal standards of grooming and presentation consistent with a luxury brand.
- Availability to work retail shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of customer-facing retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands; experience working in department store concessions is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in retail, fashion, hospitality or a related field preferred.
