Coach is hiring a Sales Associate I in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA — deliver elevated luxury retail service, drive omni‑channel sales, and support store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front‑line brand ambassador, representing Coach according to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Deliver an elevated, personalized shopping experience by providing styling guidance, product expertise and fashion advice.
  • Drive revenue through cross‑selling, upselling and targeted recommendations; meet or exceed individual and store KPIs.
  • Employ mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans and follow up with prospects to close sales and build long‑term client relationships.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers concurrently and adapt selling techniques to shifting business needs.
  • Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising while upholding service standards.
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom organized and stocked; follow POS, asset protection and retail policy procedures.
  • Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and support inventory cycles by receiving shipments and managing product movement.
  • Support colleagues across functional areas, contribute to brand initiatives and participate in training and inclusion activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with POS operation and basic computer use (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with mobile POS and walkie‑talkie communications.
  • Clienteling aptitude and data acquisition skills; social media savvy with experience in short‑form video or live‑stream selling preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly 25 lb (up to 50 lb occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom safely.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
