Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Schaumburg, IL—join Tapestry’s Coach team to deliver luxury retail service and omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Provide personalised styling and product expertise to build enduring client relationships and drive loyalty.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, cross-selling and upselling.
- Utilise Mobile POS and clienteling tools to capture customer data, process transactions, and support omni-channel fulfilment (including online pickups and returns).
- Engage in social selling and short-form video or live-stream initiatives to source new customers and encourage repeat purchases.
- Execute daily operational tasks: cash wrap, inventory receiving and replenishment, visual merchandising and stockroom organisation while following POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Support inventory cycles and product movement, assist teammates across functional areas, and maintain high energy on the sales floor.
- Participate in brand training, inclusion initiatives and ongoing development; accept and act on feedback in a constructive manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Proficient with POS operation and basic computing devices (iPad, laptop) and comfortable using Mobile POS and walkie-talkie communications.
- Demonstrated clienteling and data-acquisition skills; social-media savvy with experience in short-form video or live-stream shopping is preferred.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre in a busy retail environment.

Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury-retail experience and demonstrated success in omni‑channel selling, clienteling and social/live video commerce are strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or retail/brand training is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA, with easy access to Chicago.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
