Coach is hiring a part‑time Sales Associate in San Marcos, Texas. Deliver luxury client service and omnichannel retail experience for Coach at Tapestry.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through tailored styling, product knowledge, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets via cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans; contribute to team KPIs.
  • Operate mobile POS and standard POS systems to process purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilise clienteling tools, CRM and social selling channels — including short-form video — to capture customer data and foster engagement.
  • Support daily store operations: inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and maintaining sales-floor standards.
  • Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously while maintaining a high-energy, professional floor presence.
  • Adhere to store policies for asset protection, cash handling and health & safety; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviours accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and to develop personal sales plans.
  • Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer/mobile device use (iPad, laptop, mobile POS).
  • Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and navigate stockroom environments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasonal periods and designated public holidays.
  • Strong English language proficiency. Social media savvy and experience with live‑stream shopping or video demonstrations are preferred.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
