Coach seeks a Sales Associate in San Diego to deliver luxury retail service and omni‑channel selling at Fashion Valley.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front‑line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized shopping experiences in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling advice, product knowledge, and proactive follow‑up to drive repeat business.
- Drive individual and store sales through cross‑selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture client data and convert prospects.
- Source new customers on‑floor and via social channels; manage multiple customers while maintaining high energy and professional service standards.
- Perform daily operational duties including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising while adhering to POS and asset protection procedures.
- Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves and manage product movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom; assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust‑based environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviors to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
- Experience operating POS systems and mobile POS; basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop).
- Comfortable using clienteling tools, social selling platforms and walkie‑talkies; ability to read price/release sheets.
- Strong English proficiency and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment with a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend and maneuver in a stockroom and sales floor environment.
- Preferred: social media savvy, experience with live‑stream shopping or video demos, and demonstrated clienteling and data acquisition skills.

At least 1 year of sales experience is required; prior luxury or premium retail experience is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail sales experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
