Coach Sales Associate, Part-Time position in Salzburg, Austria. €32,000–€38,000 annual. Luxury retail experience required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service Standards
  • Build lasting customer relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion consultation
  • Drive sales revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations
  • Leverage mobile POS, customer acquisition tools, and social sales platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and implement personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
  • Acquire new customers, nurture relationships, and pursue sales closures
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt sales techniques to business requirements
  • Execute daily operational tasks (cash handling, inventory processing, restocking, visual merchandising) while maintaining service standards
  • Ensure sales floor and stockroom are clean, organized, and well-stocked; adhere to retail policies and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups)
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving deliveries, shelving stock, and managing product movements
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as needed
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and support team performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes, and inclusion activities
  • Respond positively to feedback, adapt behaviour, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience (luxury retail preferred)
  • Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer literacy (iPad/laptop, mobile POS), and the ability to read price/release tables
  • Strong English and German language skills
  • Ability to work quickly and lift regularly up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales and storage areas
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days (including holidays)
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competitor offerings

Experience
