Coach Sales Associate (Part-Time) in Salt Lake City, Utah – Deliver luxury retail experiences and drive sales. Hourly pay $15–$19.50.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and serve as the first point of contact for customers, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling advice, product expertise, and curated fashion recommendations
- Drive sales performance through strategic cross-selling and upselling techniques paired with tailored product recommendations
- Operate mobile POS and clienteling technology platforms; leverage social selling tools and short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans while meeting or exceeding individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers through floor engagement, actively manage client relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain consistent floor presence with high energy, managing multiple customers simultaneously and adapting selling approach to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap duties, inventory processing, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness and organization; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycle management by receiving and processing shipments, stocking shelves, and coordinating product movement
- Collaborate with team members across functional areas; foster a team-oriented, trust-based work environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Maintain professional composure and openness to feedback; adapt behaviors and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic retail setting
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail, with demonstrated knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive market landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy including iPad, laptop, and mobile POS platforms
- Familiarity with walkie-talkie communication systems and ability to read price sheets and promotional materials
- Strong English language proficiency required
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Availability to work a flexible schedule accommodating nights, weekends, peak seasonal periods, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail, demonstrating knowledge of fashion trends, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement strategies. Experience with digital sales tools, live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, or social media engagement is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant work experience and formal education will be considered.
