Coach Sales Associate (Temporary, Part-Time) in Rosemont, Illinois | Luxury retail customer service and sales position. $15.00–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining the highest standards of customer service
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, comprehensive product expertise, and fashion advice tailored to individual preferences
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and customized product recommendations aligned with customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs and sales targets
- Source new customers, maintain ongoing relationships, and follow up strategically to close sales and maximize customer lifetime value
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, merchandise replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization and cleanliness; follow all retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required; foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance
- Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Receive feedback graciously, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Qualifications
- One or more years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail environments
- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape awareness
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills including iPad and laptop operation
- Experience with mobile POS technology, walkie-talkie communication, and ability to read price sheets and release documentation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work in fast-paced retail environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
- Luxury retail background, social media proficiency, and experience with live-stream shopping or video product demonstrations (preferred)
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition expertise (preferred)
Skills
Experience
One or more years of retail sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred. Familiarity with fashion industry trends and competitive positioning is advantageous.
Education
No formal education requirement specified; a combination of relevant sales experience and vocational training is acceptable.
