Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in Pleasant Prairie, WI — part‑time retail role delivering luxury service and omnichannel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the frontline ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently delivering elevated, personalized client experiences in adherence with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Drive sales performance through active client acquisition, cross-selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Execute omnichannel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social‑selling (including short‑form video and live demos) to capture customer data and encourage repeat business.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; maintain and grow lasting client relationships via follow‑up and proactive outreach.
- Manage daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), maintain cash wrap procedures, and follow asset protection policies.
- Support merchandise flow and inventory processes: receive shipments, replenish stock, cycle counts and maintain organized stockroom.
- Maintain high-floor presence and energy: manage multiple customers simultaneously and adapt selling techniques to traffic patterns and business needs.
- Contribute to visual merchandising standards and store presentation; assist teammates across functional areas to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviours to evolving standards.
- Perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including regular lifting (25 lbs) and occasional heavier lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending and stockroom manoeuvres.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile POS devices (iPad/laptop); basic computer proficiency is required.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Familiarity with clienteling practices, data acquisition and social selling; experience with live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and perform routine physical retail duties.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience, ideally within luxury or premium fashion; demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and using omnichannel selling tools. Experience with social media selling and clienteling is highly advantageous.
Education
No formal degree required; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, USA, with easy access to Chicago.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
