Coach is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate in Petaluma, CA — deliver luxury retail service, clienteling and omni‑channel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service that adheres to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and follow-up to drive repeat purchases.
- Drive individual and store sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
- Engage in omni‑channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream shopping) to capture client data and close sales.
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the sales floor and stockroom organized and stocked, and follow asset protection and POS procedures.
- Support team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas and fostering a collaborative, trust-based environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behavior while maintaining a calm professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team KPIs.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer skills (iPad/laptop); familiarity with mobile POS and clienteling platforms.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, kneeling and maneuvering the sales floor/stockroom.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail or sales experience; luxury retail background is strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and using clienteling/omni‑channel tools to grow repeat business.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Petaluma, California, USA, with easy access to San Francisco.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
