Coach Sales Associate in Ottawa, Ontario – luxury retail role combining personalized service, omni-channel selling, and brand ambassadorship.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion trend consultation
  • Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, social selling platforms, and short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, maintain client relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers and adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service excellence
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked while adhering to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection standards
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage overall team performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
  • Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
  • Proficiency with POS systems, iPad/laptop, mobile POS technology, and walkie-talkie communication
  • Ability to read price sheets and release documentation
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom effectively
  • Luxury retail background preferred
  • Social media proficiency and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations preferred
  • Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills preferred

Experience
