Coach Sales Associate position in Ottawa, Ontario — luxury retail role combining omni-channel selling, customer experience, and team collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining elevated personal presentation
- Build and cultivate lasting client relationships through personalized styling, comprehensive product expertise, and fashion trend guidance
- Drive sales performance through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations based on customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source and acquire new customers, maintain detailed relationship records, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales opportunities
- Maintain high energy and professionalism on the sales floor while managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap procedures, inventory processing, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising within service standards
- Maintain organized and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom environments while adhering to asset protection and retail compliance procedures
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Participate in inventory cycles by receiving shipments, shelving products, and managing inventory movement and accuracy
- Support team members across functional areas as needed to achieve store objectives
- Foster collaborative, trust-based team environment and contribute positively to team performance metrics
- Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Receive and implement feedback constructively while maintaining professional composure in fast-paced retail environments
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional sales experience (luxury retail background preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and point-of-sale operations
- Basic computer competency with iPad, laptop, and mobile POS platforms
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Physical ability to lift minimum 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience in any retail environment; luxury retail experience is preferred. A combination of formal education and practical sales experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or retail certifications are valued but not required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
