Coach seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Ottawa, ON (Rideau Centre) to deliver personalized luxury retail service and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador on the sales floor, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service aligned with Coach standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals through upselling, cross-selling and execution of individual sales plans and KPIs.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream demos) to capture customer data and facilitate omni-channel sales.
  • Manage daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, online pickups), maintain cash wrap and follow POS and asset-protection procedures.
  • Support inventory management: receive shipments, replenish stock, execute visual merchandising and maintain an organized sales floor and stockroom.
  • Adapt selling techniques to customer flow and business needs while multitasking across multiple customers; maintain high energy and a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and demonstrate continuous learning.
  • Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
  • Perform physical duties including lifting (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending and stockroom manoeuvring.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven experience operating POS systems and mobile POS devices (iPad/laptop); basic computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated clienteling, social selling or live-stream/video demonstration experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail sales experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury retail or who have demonstrable clienteling and social-selling experience.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional retail, fashion or clienteling training is an asset.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
