Coach in Ottawa is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to deliver personalized luxury service and drive sales for the Coach boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a front-line ambassador, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with Coach standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert engagements into sales.
  • Execute daily store operations: process transactions, manage inventory cycles, receive shipments, stock merchandise and support online order fulfillment (pick-up/returns/exchanges).
  • Maintain visual merchandising and sales floor standards; keep stockroom and sales areas organized and compliant with asset protection policies.
  • Support teammates across functional areas, contribute to a collaborative team environment and participate in brand trainings and initiatives.
  • Adapt selling approach to varying customer flows and business needs while sustaining a calm, professional demeanour.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating POS systems and mobile POS; comfortable using iPad/laptop and walkie‑talkie.
  • Demonstrated clienteling and data-acquisition skills; familiarity with social selling, live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and perform typical retail floor tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling).

Experience

At least 1 year of sales or retail experience; prior luxury retail or premium-brand experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales KPIs and building client relationships.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, fashion or customer-service training is advantageous.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
