Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in Ocean City, Maryland — part-time retail role delivering luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized client experiences in line with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Drive sales performance through tailored recommendations, cross-selling and upselling; meet or exceed individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling channels (including short-form video) to capture client data, convert sales and support omni-channel fulfilment (returns, exchanges, online pickups).
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap procedures, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising while maintaining store standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised sales floor and stockroom; follow asset protection, POS and retail policies.
- Support inventory cycles, assist teammates across functional areas and participate in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; safely handle physical tasks (regularly lift 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver high-quality, fashion-focused client service.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); comfortable using mobile POS and walkie-talkies.
- Social media savvy with experience or aptitude for short-form video, live-stream shopping or video demos (preferred).
- Flexible availability to work retail peak hours, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre in a busy retail environment.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience; prior luxury or fashion retail experience preferred, with demonstrated achievement against sales targets and experience in omni-channel clientelling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational coursework or retail/fashion training preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Ocean City, Maryland, USA, with easy access to Baltimore.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
