Coach Sales Associate position in Oakbrook, Illinois - luxury retail role blending personalized service, omni-channel selling, and brand ambassadorship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion recommendations
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and customer-specific recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to meet business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service excellence
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor and stockroom environments; ensure compliance with retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist team members across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based work environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome and act on feedback; maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all customer and team interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, and mobile POS systems
- Ability to read price sheets and release sheets accurately
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Social media awareness and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations preferred
- Clienteling and data acquisition skills preferred
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with fashion trends, competitive knowledge, and experience in fast-paced retail environments. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; college education or relevant retail certifications are valued but not required. A combination of education and sales experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Oakbrook, Illinois, USA, with easy access to Chicago.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
