Coach Sales Associate (Part-Time) in Newton, Massachusetts—luxury retail position combining personalized client service, omni-channel selling, and operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain strategic relationships, and execute follow-up protocols to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customer interactions and adapting selling techniques to align with business priorities
  • Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising standards
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and stock levels while adhering to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently across all formats: purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, shelving stock, and managing product movement
  • Provide cross-functional support to team members across operational areas as needed
  • Foster a collaborative and trust-based environment that encourages strong team performance
  • Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback constructively, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain composure and professionalism in all situations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience (luxury retail background strongly preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proven proficiency with POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS platforms)
  • Ability to operate walkie-talkies and read price and release sheets
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days (including public holidays)

Experience
