Coach Sales Associate position in Newton, Massachusetts; luxury retail role offering $15-$19.50/hour with comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining brand integrity
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, comprehensive product expertise, and fashion advice tailored to individual preferences
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and personalized product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, maintain ongoing relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales and foster loyalty
- Maintain high energy and engagement on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously and adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom environments clean, organized, and fully stocked; adhere strictly to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required to ensure seamless store operations
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and actively encourage peer performance and engagement
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Remain receptive to feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain composure and professionalism in all situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Proficient with POS systems and mobile point-of-sale platforms
- Basic computer literacy with iPad and laptop platforms
- Strong English language proficiency
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally; capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering sales floor and stockroom environments
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays as required by business needs
