Coach seeks a Sales Associate III in New York, NY to deliver luxury client service and drive retail sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently exceptional, personalised client experience and cultivate long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Drive store sales and conversion by achieving individual and team KPIs, including average transaction value and units per transaction.
  • Maintain superb product knowledge across leather goods, accessories and seasonal collections to advise clients and suggest complementary items.
  • Execute merchandising standards and visual presentation to brand guidelines, including window displays, floor sets and replenishment.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions, manage returns/exchanges and ensure cash handling and till reconciliation procedures are followed.
  • Support inventory control and stockroom operations, including receiving, tagging, stock counts and shrinkage prevention.
  • Participate in store opening/closing procedures, training initiatives and ad hoc brand events or client appointments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury or premium retail sales, preferably within leather goods, accessories or fashion.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first orientation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in retail, fashion or business is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand for extended periods.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary qualification in retail, fashion, hospitality or business is desirable but not required.
