Coach Sales Associate III in New York — Coach seeks a client-focused Sales Associate to drive luxury retail sales and deliver elevated service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client experiences that reflect Coach’s luxury positioning and drive conversion and retention.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, suggestive selling and follow-up.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately and handle cash, cards and refunds in accordance with store procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, floor presentation and stock replenishment to uphold brand image and sell-through.
- Build and maintain a client database; proactively manage appointments, VIP outreach and aftercare communications.
- Support inventory control and loss-prevention protocols, including cycle counts and secure handling of high-value merchandise.
- Collaborate with the store team on promotions, events and day-to-day operations to optimize the customer journey.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably 2+ years in luxury or premium fashion accessories.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in a retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, client-focused manner and strong verbal communication.
- High attention to detail, reliability and a professional presentation consistent with brand standards.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

Experience
Typically requires at least 2 years of frontline retail experience in a luxury or premium brand, with a track record of meeting sales targets and building repeat client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in retail, fashion or business is advantageous but not required.
