Coach in New York seeks a Sales Associate III to deliver luxury clienteling, drive in-store sales and support boutique operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and create lasting relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales KPIs, including conversion, average transaction value and productivity metrics.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across leather goods, accessories and seasonal collections to guide client purchases.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and ensure correct cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and boutique presentation to brand standards, including window displays and floor sets.
  • Manage stockroom activities: receiving, inventory control, replenishment and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Support in-store events, private appointments and trunk shows to drive traffic and high-value sales.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to escalate client feedback, achieve operational targets and sustain a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience, ideally 2+ years within luxury or premium fashion brands.
  • Demonstrated clienteling experience with a track record of building repeat clientèle and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present product benefits persuasively.
  • Strong numerical accuracy for transaction handling and familiarity with POS procedures.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak selling periods.
  • Professional presentation aligned with luxury brand standards and the ability to uphold Coach’s visual identity.
