Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in New York, NY — deliver exemplary client service and drive boutique sales for Coach's leather and accessory collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service through proactive clienteling, personalised advice and relationship building to maximise lifetime value.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and upselling.
  • Manage daily boutique operations including point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, inventory replenishment and stockroom organisation.
  • Execute visual merchandising and floor sets to brand standards, ensuring displays reflect seasonal campaigns and product storytelling.
  • Support store events, product launches and private client appointments to drive traffic and brand engagement.
  • Maintain product and brand knowledge across leather goods, accessories and seasonal collections to advise clients confidently.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention procedures, store opening/closing routines and corporate compliance policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion (typically 2+ years).
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and delivering high-touch client service.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first orientation.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to travel occasionally for training or events.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in fashion, retail or business is an advantage.
