Coach Sales Associate in New York, NY — Coach seeks a Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and drive retail sales in its New York boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, relationship-driven service to high-net-worth and walk-in clients to maximize conversion and average transaction value.
  • Own the clienteling process: proactively develop, maintain and grow client lists, follow up on leads and appointments, and execute outreach campaigns.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and other KPIs through consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling of product categories.
  • Operate POS systems, process transactions, returns and exchanges accurately, and ensure adherence to cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and maintain boutique presentation, stock replenishment and inventory accuracy.
  • Mentor and support junior sales staff; contribute to in-store training and frontline onboarding when required.
  • Participate in store-level promotions, events and trunk shows to enhance brand presence and client acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in luxury or premium retail sales, preferably with demonstrable achievement of sales targets.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, client-first approach.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation, with a strong understanding of luxury service standards.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays; ability to work retail hours.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
