Coach in New York is hiring a Sales Associate III to drive luxury retail sales and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to clients through expert product knowledge and clienteling to build long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through proactive selling and consultative engagement.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and card payments in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards, ensuring product displays and floor sets reflect brand guidelines.
- Support inventory control activities including stock replenishment, receiving, cycle counts and loss-prevention best practices.
- Participate in client events, private appointments and omnichannel fulfilment (click & collect/ship-from-store) as required.
- Collaborate with store leadership and cross-functional teams to communicate client feedback, market trends and promotional execution.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a retail or luxury environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric mindset.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
- Professional appearance and strong presentation consistent with a luxury brand.
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including prolonged standing and light lifting.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably within luxury or premium accessories/leather goods; demonstrated success in consultative selling and meeting KPI targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or retail-related certification preferred.
