Coach in New York, NY seeks a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional client service and drive store sales in a luxury retail setting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service consistent with Coach’s luxury positioning; cultivate and maintain a high-value client portfolio through proactive clienteling.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets by converting foot traffic, executing targeted outreach, and leveraging CRM data.
  • Maintain elevated presentation standards: visual merchandising, product placement, stock replenishment and housekeeping to brand guidelines.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; manage payments, returns, and secure cash handling procedures in accordance with store policy.
  • Support daily store operations including inventory management, stock intake, loss prevention, receipt and processing of deliveries, and preparation for events or product launches.
  • Collaborate with the team on promotional activities, private client events and loyalty initiatives to drive traffic and deepen client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail sales, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable client growth.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to work retail shift patterns.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (where applicable).

Experience
