Coach in New York seeks a Sales Associate III — mid-level luxury retail role focused on clienteling, sales and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and build long-term client relationships through active clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets by proactively identifying client needs and presenting product solutions.
- Maintain elevated standards of merchandising, visual presentation and store housekeeping to reflect the Coach brand aesthetic.
- Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and ensure correct reconciliation of POS and receipts.
- Support inventory management including receiving, replenishment, stock counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with store team and management on promotions, events and client outreach initiatives to drive traffic and conversion.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail training or certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver luxury-level customer service and to develop rapport with high-value clientele.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Professional presentation and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Experience
At least 2 years of client-facing retail or sales experience, preferably within luxury fashion, leather goods or premium accessories; demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and managing high-value transactions.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail or customer-service related vocational training advantageous.
