Coach seeks a Sales Associate I in New York, NY — deliver elevated client service and drive sales in a luxury retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service to build long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, clienteling and follow-up.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge across collections, materials and craftsmanship to advise clients accurately.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately and manage returns/exchanges according to policy.
  • Support visual merchandising and maintain polished store presentation, window displays and stockroom organization.
  • Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Participate in brand and product training, team meetings and store events to support business priorities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional study in retail, fashion or merchandising is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills consistent with luxury retail standards.
  • Right to work in the country of employment.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred; prior luxury or leather-goods experience strongly advantageous.

Experience
