Coach in New York, NY is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and drive retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver elevated, personalised client service and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across collections and communicate craftsmanship and heritage to customers.
- Execute visual merchandising standards, ensure floor readiness and maintain premium presentation of merchandise.
- Process point-of-sale transactions accurately, manage returns and exchanges, and support cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Support inventory management including stock replenishment, stockroom organisation and receiving shipments.
- Adhere to loss-prevention protocols, store policies and brand compliance standards.
- Contribute to store events, private appointments and marketing initiatives to drive client acquisition and retention.
Qualifications
- Proven retail background with experience in luxury or premium apparel/accessories; demonstrated sales performance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a consultative selling style and strong clienteling capability.
- Professional presentation and a polished, hospitality-oriented manner.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods; ability to stand for extended periods.
- High degree of reliability, integrity and adherence to store operational procedures.

Experience
Typically requires at least 2 years of hands-on sales experience in luxury or premium retail demonstrating consistent achievement of sales targets and strong client relationship development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in retail, fashion or hospitality is desirable but not required.
