Coach in New York seeks a Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service, drive sales and uphold brand standards at its boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maintaining awareness of KPIs and contributing to team performance.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge across leather goods, accessories and seasonal collections to advise clients effectively.
- Execute visual merchandising and shop floor presentation to brand standards, including window displays and stock replenishment.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, manage returns/exchanges, and maintain cash-handling discipline.
- Support inventory control and loss-prevention procedures, including stock counts and secure handling of merchandise.
- Participate in in-store training, brand events and store meetings; welcome operational flexibility including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience; previous experience in luxury or premium fashion retail strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable clienteling and consultative-selling ability with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
- Legally eligible to work in the country of employment and able to perform physical requirements of the role (standing, lifting merchandise).

Experience
Typically 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion; evidence of consistent sales performance and client development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in retail, sales or fashion retail are advantageous.
