Coach Sales Associate in New York, NY — Boutique retail role focused on luxury client service, sales and visual merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and achieve established individual and store sales targets through active selling and clienteling.
  • Build and maintain a high-value client book; proactively follow up on leads and coordinate appointments and private shopping experiences.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards and ensure presentation of product and store environment aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) and CRM systems to process transactions, manage client records and track sales activity.
  • Manage inventory, including accepting deliveries, conducting stock counts and maintaining back-of-house organization.
  • Support store operations such as cash handling, daily reconciliations, loss prevention and compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in store events, seasonal launches and team meetings to drive footfall and brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a retail environment; experience with luxury or premium brands preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong service orientation and high emotional intelligence.
  • Reliable numeracy and experience with cash handling and basic reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships and execute clienteling strategies.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

Experience
