Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in New York, NY — luxury retail role focused on clienteling, merchandising and sales performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and build long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling and effective upselling.
  • Maintain boutique visual standards and execute merchandising directives to reflect brand positioning and seasonal campaigns.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and maintain cash-handling integrity.
  • Support inventory control activities including receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Contribute to omnichannel service delivery by fulfilling in-store pickup, online order preparations and cross-channel client requests.
  • Participate in product training and store meetings; escalate client feedback and market intelligence to management.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury or premium retail sales, preferably within accessories, leather goods, or fashion.
  • Demonstrable clienteling ability with a focus on long-term relationship building and repeat business.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with polished presentation appropriate for a luxury setting.
  • Reliable availability including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team-oriented retail environment.
