Coach in Nanjing is hiring a Sales Associate — deliver luxury service, omni‑channel selling and clienteling at the Nanjing Coach store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador, consistently delivering Coach’s Guide to Style and Service and representing the brand with polished, professional presentation.
  • Create personalised shopping experiences through styling advice, product expertise and long-term client relationship building.
  • Drive individual and store sales by cross-selling, upselling and recommending tailored product solutions to meet KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data, transact sales and stimulate repeat business.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans, actively source new clients and follow up to convert opportunities.
  • Maintain high‑energy floor coverage, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to varying traffic and business priorities.
  • Perform daily operational duties—cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment—while upholding visual merchandising standards.
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom organised and compliant with POS, asset protection and retail policies.
  • Support inventory cycles and participate in brand activations, training and inclusion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across functions to foster a trust-based, high-performance team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and mobile POS; comfortable using iPad/laptop for sales and clienteling.
  • Familiarity with clienteling, CRM data capture and social/live-stream selling preferred.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays; comfortable in a high-traffic retail environment.

Experience
