Coach Sales Associate role in Mount Royal, Quebec, with personalized client service, omnichannel selling, and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, following the Coach Guide to Style and service standards.
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice.
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans, meeting or exceeding individual and team KPIs.
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales.
- Maintain energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
- Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
- Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection procedures.
- Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and online pickups efficiently.
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement.
- Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities.
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS; walkie-talkie use; and ability to read price/release sheets.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, and clienteling and data acquisition skills are preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
