Coach Temporary Sales Associate in Millbury, MA - Luxury retail role ($15–$24.25/hr) blending brand ambassadorship with omni-channel selling and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador while adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to meet business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked while following retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of retail sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor offerings
- Experience with POS systems and basic computer proficiency including iPad, laptop, and mobile POS platforms
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in retail, with preference for luxury retail background. Combination of relevant education and sales experience will be considered. Social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant retail or customer service training considered.
