Coach seeks a Part‑Time Sales Associate in Michigan City, Indiana to deliver personalised luxury retail experiences and drive omni‑channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a frontline ambassador of the Coach brand, applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service to every client interaction.
  • Deliver elevated, personalised shopping experiences—offer styling advice, product expertise and tailored recommendations to build client loyalty.
  • Drive individual and store sales through cross‑selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
  • Engage in omni‑channel selling: use Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling/short‑form video to capture client data and convert digital interest into sales.
  • Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory reception and replenishment.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and visual presentation on the sales floor; assist with stockroom organisation and product movement.
  • Source and follow up with new customers, manage client records and encourage repeat purchases through proactive outreach.
  • Support team performance and foster a collaborative, trust‑based floor environment; participate in brand trainings and inclusion initiatives.
  • Adhere to loss prevention, POS and retail policy procedures while ensuring a clean, safe, and well‑stocked retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and work within KPI‑driven retail environments.
  • Proficiency operating POS systems and basic digital tools (Mobile POS, iPad, laptop); comfortable with walkie‑talkie communication.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.
  • Social media savvy with experience or comfort using short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to climb, bend and manoeuvre in a busy sales floor/stockroom.
