Coach seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Mebane, North Carolina — join Tapestry’s retail team to deliver luxury clienteling and omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the frontline ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with brand style and service standards.
- Build and sustain lasting client relationships through product expertise, personalised styling and proactive outreach to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans; contribute to team KPIs.
- Execute omni-channel sales: operate mobile POS, process in-store and online transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, buy-online-pickup-in-store).
- Use clienteling tools and social selling channels — including short-form video and live-stream demonstrations — to capture customer data and stimulate purchases.
- Perform daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, basic visual merchandising and asset protection procedures.
- Maintain showroom and stockroom standards; manage product flow and participate in inventory cycles and cycle counts.
- Support colleagues across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment, and participate in brand trainings and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personalised clienteling.
- Proficiency with POS operations and basic computer/tablet use (iPad, laptop); experience with Mobile POS devices.
- Comfortable using clienteling tools, social selling platforms and short-form video or live-stream shopping techniques (preferred).
- Physical ability to lift 25 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience; prior luxury retail or brand boutique experience is preferred. Demonstrated track record in meeting sales goals and executing clienteling and omni-channel selling is desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of relevant retail education and experience considered. Vocational or retail training preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
