Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and brand values
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, comprehensive fashion advice, and tailored recommendations
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and customer engagement techniques to meet personal and store revenue goals
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers and prospects, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales and build a loyal client base
- Maintain high energy and engagement on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously; adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and product availability; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement in accordance with company procedures
- Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment
- Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Welcome constructive feedback and coaching; maintain a calm, professional, and adaptable demeanor in response to evolving demands
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, mobile POS platforms)
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets, release sheets, and promotional materials
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Strong English language proficiency
- Social media savvy and familiarity with digital platforms
- Experience with live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, or clienteling and data acquisition practices preferred
Skills
Experience
1 to 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the luxury fashion or accessories sector. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional fashion, retail, or business education is advantageous but not required.
